The KITE 10x30 and 12x30 APC stabilized binoculars bring you the latest technology in binocular image stabilisation. There are other stabilized binoculars in the market, but none of them compare to this. One very important difference is the correction angle. Most of today’s stabilized binoculars offer a correction angle from 0.5° to 1°. In other words, a correction of 0.8 to 1.7 meters at a distance of 100 meters. Trembling of the hand, observing on a windy day or being out of breath after hiking, will easily cause image instability that is larger than these values. The KITE APC stabilized binoculars feature a new technology that allows the instrument to correct the image stability by 3°, or 5.3 meters at a distance of 100 meters, or 53 meters at 1000 meters. In other words, 6 times more. This will allow perfectly stable images not only from a trembling hand, but even from a driving car or a boat in strong sea. This very compact sized and light instrument is also packed with intelligent features. The electronics are powered by two AA-batteries, the most common battery size worldwide, and will make sure the instrument runs for 36 hours. But to make sure not a second of those 36 hours is lost, the KITE APC binoculars are equipped with sensors that will automatically put the electronics to sleep mode when you are not viewing. The APC function (angle power control) detects positioning. When the instrument comes in vertical position, hanging from your neck or standing on a surface, it goes to sleep. From the second it comes to a more horizontal position, when viewing, the stabilisation kicks in. No switching of buttons, no accidental battery drain. A timer function makes sure it switches off completely after 90 minutes, no matter the position. And a low battery indicator will tell you well in time when new batteries are needed. The APC stabilized is ergonomically shaped, and features a 4 cm long focus wheel that can be easily operated with 3 fingers. Although the APC stabilized looks different, it is just as easy to use as any pair of standard binoculars. The essence of this instrument is of course with its stabilizing capability. Optically it is on the same performance level as the KITE PETREL, however under any circumstance of instability, whether from your own hands, heavy breathing, windy conditions, etc… these binoculars will outrun the best binoculars in the world, and will give you the image and details invisible to any standard binocular. Try it to believe it!
The stabilized binoculars are equipped with KITE’s APC system (angle power control). Without having to switch the button, it will put the stabilizing electronics to sleep mode when the instrument is in rest position (hanging from the neck) , and automatically activate the unit when you start observing again. This results in a huge increase of battery life and comfort of use.
With its 2 AA batteries, the stabilization mechanism can be active for up to 36 hours. The APC STABILIZED binoculars are also perfectly usable without activating the stabilization mechanism.
Regardless of its position (rest or active), after 90 mintues the instrument will automatically switch off for energy saving.

Op aanraden van uw verkoper overgaan tot de aankoop van een 12 X 30. Moet zeggen dat het werkelijk een groot verschil is t.o.v. een gewone kijker. De stabilisatie werkt perfect met als resultaat prachtige beelden.
De stabilisatie van deze kijker maakt echt een groot verschil. Daarnaast is de kijker ook nog veel lichter dan ik vooraf dacht, waardoor deze ook lekker in de hand ligt. Enorm blij dat we deze kijker kochten.
Ik had nog nooit gehoord van een stabilisator, maar bij de APC 12x30 heeft deze vanaf de eerste dag zijn nut bewezen bij een boottocht op zee. Prachtig toestel. Zeker zijn prijs waard!
ongelofelijk hoe dicht we nu de vogels tot bij ons kunnen brengen. De stabilisator is werkt verbluffend.
Het verschil tussen de stabilized functie aan of uit is formidabel. wat een rust voor het oog.

Het is verbluffend dat je met een dergelijk vergroting (12X) zo'n stil en rustig beeld hebt. Dat lukt je niet zonder stabilisatie.
Zeer handig toestel : licht van gewicht en gemak van gebruik. De automatische uitschakeling van de batterij is ook zeer nuttig.
Great experience to see how sharp, clear and steady the view is. No attention "wasted" on holding the binoculars steady :-)

Fantastische verrekijker! Zeer licht en gemakkelijk met één hand te bedienen. Het "stabilized" systeem werkt uitmuntend. Zeker een aanrader!!! De service bij Kite Optics in Jabbeke is zeer professioneel. Een zeer tevreden klant!
Thanks for a wonderful products - I already had a 'normal' Kite but am absolutely thrilled about the stabilizer function which allows a much more steady viewing - and still at superb image quality.
Sinds kort ben ik een tevreden bezitter van deze Bino-APC Stabilized. Ongelofelijk hoe rustig en scherp het beeld is en dan nog op zo'n afstand! Dat stabiliseren heeft echt een enorme toegevoegde waarde. Verder ligt deze kijker goed in de hand en scherpstellen gaat eenvoudig. Zeker een aanrader!
Ik kocht een 10x30 en ben er heel erg tevreden mee: wat een verrekijker!(heb ook de swarovski 10x42) Hij ligt goed in de handen en is gemakkelijk te bedienen. Een telescoop op statief is quasi overbodig. Het gezichtsveld is prima. Maar wat dit toestel zo bijzonder maakt is de stabilisator. Deze zorgt ervoor dat eens je scherp ingesteld hebt op een vogel, een bloem, een vlinder, … het beeld stabiel blijft en zo krijg je de kans om je gekozen onderwerp rustig te bekijken. Je kijkt, je stelt scherp en met een vingerslip krijg je het meest scherpe en vooral stabiele beeld dat je maar kunt wensen. De invloed van de wind, je eigen lichaamsgesteldheid (beven van de kou, wegens een moeilijke standplaats, beverige handen, …). Je krijgt de tijd om elke bijzonderheid , eigen aan het scherp gestelde onderwerp rustig te bekijken. Gewoon een fantastische kijker voor een zeer redelijke prijs. En … ook de service is geweldig

Begin deze week na een vlotte service ging de deurbel... de APC 12X30 werd netjes geleverd door de koerier. Ik had eveneens gekozen voor de Comfort Strap, die zat er netjes bij. Vandaag ben ik het toestel in de praktijk gaan testen, wat een verademing. In vergelijking met andere verrekijkers is de stabilisatie super! Héél handig wanneer je in je ene hand een spiegelreflexcamera met telelens hebt en in je ander de verrekijker. De stabilisatie zorgt ervoor dat je mooi scherp beeld hebt ondanks je slechts één hand gebruikt. Eveneens ideaal bij situaties waar er veel wind is. Mijn vaste maatje in de toekomst tijdens wandelingen!

Vraiment une superbe qualité de fabrication et la stabilisation est absolument incroyable d'autant qu'on peux apprécier facilement avec et sans. La netteté sans vibration est vraiment pas loin de jumelles conventionnelle haut de gamme sur trépied la maniabilité en plus. Si j'osais, dommage que le produit n'existe pas en un peu plus lumineux (12x42 ou 18x50 ?) pour les conditions de luminosité plus faible.
L'optique est de très bonne qualité (niveau Nikon) et la jumelle déjà très stable sans utiliser la fonction de stabilisation. Celle-ci permet d'être moins crispé lors de l'observation des détails.
Na enkele kijkers geprobeerd, gekozen voor de APC 10x30. Een loepzuiver stilstaand beeld. Top.

Fantastic feeling with complete stabil image
Gisteren aangekocht, behoorlijk prijkaartje, maar o zo wee meer dan waard. Prachtige kleuren met de surplus van de verwonderlijke stabilisator. Heel tevreden van de beslissing.
Indrukwekkend effect en eenvoudig te gebruiken voor groot en klein,dus altijd mee bij iedere uitstap.Blij met de aankoop dank voor de gekregen vakkundige uitleg,nu genieten!
Neusje van de zalm op het vlak van verrekijkers. Aanrader.
Je disposais de jumelles pour la navigation en mer, pas facile a utiliser avec le roulis / tangage. Probleme réglé !!!
zeer degelijke verrekijker maar het stabiliserend effect is zeer verrassend en zeer doeltreffend , geen trillend effect als je naar vogels kijkt: stabiel beeld.
Bonjour, J'ai été très surpris par la qualité de la stabilisation. Je pensais ne pas trembler, mais les jumelles m'ont démontré le contraire. La vision est claire, nette, lumineuse et d'une stabilité exemplaire. Je ne puis que conseiller. N.B. Achat du modèle 10*30
Image stabilisation and APC worked well, but the automatic switch-off after 90 minutes did not work. More comfortable and better designed than the Viking Scouts although a little heavier. Eyecups do not remain in position owing to friction with the chest when hanging vertically around neck, and keep having to be adjusted. Very good after-sales service.
Zeer tevreden over de aankoop, voldoet volledig aan mijn verwachtingen. Stabilisatie is prachtig maar ook wel noodzakelijk op dit toestel. Ook meegemaakt dat de stabilisatie niet wilde werken na een inactiviteit na verticale pauze uitschakeling.
I have to say I am REALLY impressed with the Kite APC Stabilized 10x30s, although not to the point where I can relinquish my Swarovski 10x42 ELs. Depth of field is shallow which makes the focus a bit 'twitchy', as on most mid range binoculars, and field of view is naturally compromised vs 10x42s. But ergonomically they are great with excellent eye relief, great eye cups, comfortable handling, waterproof, light and pretty well-built. If Kite produce a 10x42 stabilised and use their top glass as in the Ibis or Bonelli 2 bins, I am definitely selling my Swarovskis!
